Kilmarnock should have been the first team to play in Europe..at first regardless of where teams finished in the League, Scotland would always send teams from the big cities (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee) to play in Europe, whilst Killie were often sent to America..first case most likely of the socalled “postcode lottery”

@michaelUNITEDKINGDOM from 1974 – 1998 (24 years) Scotland qualified 6 times for the Word Cup and in the same period England qualified 4 times. So, I wouldn’t say Scotland never qualifies!
@lilmisssmiles1 i think its just a reaction to how little we deserve it yet think we do. if we did win then it would be a win for the cocky “we have to win we’re __.” types. but we lose so everything is as it should be.
